You don't have to use it for Christmas...
Original Writing
So I was climbing a tree, the branch I was holding snapped, I fell, caught another twig which pulled my pants off, landed on a coke bottle and that's why they call it greek sex. By me.

Yes Sir, Yes Sir, three bags...
I'm on the hunt for a new handbag (black, not vegan-friendly) to replace my current shoulder-crippling maroon number (made from up-cycled leather pants by Hurwundeki). Can anyone help? Here are the favourites...
Marc by Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal Sasha Shoulder Bag
What sort of stupid name is that for a bag? And why does it have those darn birds on it? I read somewhere that they are "a nod to tattoo culture". Despite the birds, I was all ready to buy this bag off shopbop (they do free international postage and the Aussie dollar was strong) but by the time I got around to it, they were sold out. No longer available, unlike the girl with the birds tattooed on her back. If you're in Perth you can pick it up at Wasteland for $850 or so.
Deadly Ponies Mr Flopalopagus
Mr Flopalopagus doesn't have the charm of Mr Quack but he does reek of practicality and style. I would totally be rocking this bag by NZ's Deadly Ponies if fellow glogger D didn't already own it. DP stockists in Oz include The Grand Social, Emporia (in Perth), Alphaville and Somebuddy Loves You (in Melbourne).
ILEMI PARIS 2 ways Leather Bag
I saw this on etsy and it was love. Can I defend spending this much on a bag and shipping it halfway around the world? Alternatively, I could send myself to Paris and buy it in person. Ilemi, my heart is yours.
Anyone know a local leather smith who can make me a bag? Preferably out of some old pants or upholstery or something?

'tis the season to overspend
Inspired by Pantone and bored by reds, greens and whites, the people behind Christmas by Colour created this excellent A1 poster of Christmas colours using submissions from thousands of people around the world. This year, colour-lovers voted on their 3 favourite hues, resulting in a choice selection of Christmas cards. My favourites? Yellow Snow and Grandma's Whiskers.

Original Writing.
The traditional Sunday evolution diatribe. An exercise in absurdity and an exposition of pointlessness. Bet you don't wish you were a hummingbird now. By me.

Original Writing
Only grow what you're willing to smite. A new, religious, article about the pOlice and their association with the world's major river systems. By me.
Song of the day
This reminds me of donning the skates at Rollarama in Kalamunda (or whatever that place was called, that was down the street from Wet 'n' Wild), trying to keep up with my older and much cooler cousins.
