Balloons and song of the day

You thought I was going to post 99 Luftballoons, ja?

Nein. Here is Cyndi Lauper rocking some yellow shoes and a balloon-festooned porch. Now, why are her condiments on the floor? That's a recipe for a messy floor.

Here's some Goonies 'R' Good Enough for our girl Tanya. It's the evil creditors version.

I found it with German dubbing too. Hilarious.

If they were trying to redeem themselves from the Snuggie episode, they failed

My mother bought me weezer's latest album, Raditude, for Christmas. I was listening to the third track, "Can't Stop Partying", as I drove home and trying to decide whether the lyrics or the melody were more disappointing. All of a sudden it cut to a rap interlude and I almost became part of the Christmas road toll. I really hoped they were taking the piss. Anyway, researching the internets has led to the knowledge that the rapper was Lil Wayne. Apparently his nickname is Weezy.  One reviewer writes that the song was "written on the foundation of Weezer fans' tears."

I need to soothe my anger with some Muppets.
